DJ Na Lie is the founder and creative director of the Naira Cartel — the architect who built the NMC universe and the meta-narrator who keeps commenting on it. Edo heritage, Hackney upbringing, 30 years old, and permanently unconvinced.

His voice is a raspy tenor delivered half-spoken, half-laughed and soaked in irony. The tools are turntables, an MPC and a scratch hand that treats the rest of the roster as raw material: every NMC artist gets sampled, flipped and answered back. The tempo swings between 100 and 140 BPM on purpose — Afro-Grime and UK Garage with intentional chaos built in.
