The Signal Doesn’t Stop

NMC Signal has been broadcasting continuously since April 1st 2026. Twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. No scheduled breaks. No gaps. No presenter handovers. Just music from the African diaspora, running without interruption from a server in West London.

The station runs on 168 tracks — all original, all from The Cartel’s ten artists. The range across those tracks covers the full spread of what African diaspora music sounds like in London in 2026. Afrobeats. Afro-drill. Afro-grime. Amapiano. Kizomba. Fuji rap. These are not genre boxes. They are the sounds of ten specific people making music in a specific city at a specific moment.

Building that volume of music required a decision. The decision was to use Suno AI. Naira Music Cartel developed individual AI personas for each of The Cartel’s ten members — not to replace the artists, but to build with them. Each persona was constructed around a real artist’s style, tone, and creative direction, then used to generate the tracks that now run on NMC Signal around the clock.

The result is a station with enough material to operate as a genuine radio service. Not a playlist on shuffle. Not a fifteen-track loop. A station — with depth, variety, and the kind of catalogue that makes it worth leaving on.

NMC Signal is free to listen to. No account required. No preview window. No timer that cuts you off and asks you to sign up. The stream is open because the music is the point, and the music should be heard.

The signal doesn’t stop. That was always the plan.
